New Glasgow is a town in Pictou County, in the province of Nova Scotia, Canada. It is situated on the banks of the East River of Pictou, which flows into Pictou Harbour, a sub-basin of the Northumberland Strait.

New Glasgow was a major center of steel and shipbuilding in the 19th and early 20th centuries, earning the region the nickname 'Industrial Hub of Nova Scotia'.
The Samson Trail, named after Canada's first steam locomotive, runs through New Glasgow as part of the Trans Canada Trail.
