What Is a County

The county is where the pockets network lives. It is the primary unit of community sovereignty — the level at which advertising revenue accumulates in a local reserve, at which grants are issued, at which local businesses list and connect, at which neighbors govern their shared digital infrastructure.

Every advertising dollar generated in a county stays in that county. Not in a state capital. Not in a corporate headquarters. In the county where it was spent — in reserves, in grants, in the people who live there.

Governance Layer

The Circuit

The County Circuit is where counties within a state meet each other. It is the deliberative layer for county communities — where county delegates coordinate across a region, where resolutions are discussed, where the work of community governance happens outside the noise of the general public feed.

Posts in the county circuit are tagged with the county of origin. A reader in the state circuit sees every county represented by its own marker — the aggregate voice of the region made visible.

The circuit is publicly visible. Contribution requires residency.

Architecture

How It Works

Every member who establishes residency in a county becomes part of that county's pockets community. As the community grows, the reserve grows. As the reserve grows, so does the county's capacity for grants, programs, and local enterprise investment.

County delegates are elected from the resident community. They carry the county's voice into the state circuit, and from there into the national and international delegate bodies.

The county is where it starts. Everything else is built on top of it.
